This site pays tribute to the history of the RAMC Staff Band, whose records date back to the late 19th Century. Although the band was made redundant during the defence cuts of 1984, it managed to survive in part by the formation of The Army Medical Services TA Band. Sad to report the death of Ssgt Ron Beards in May 2015. He had a long association with the band. We all have fond memories. Keith. Keputusan ini telah dicapai dimana nukleus dari Batalion Pertama ini telah ditukarkan ke Batalion Kedua. Batalion Kedua Rejimen Askar Melayu Diraja ditubuhkan dibawah kuasa penubuhan daripada Pesuruh Jaya Tinggi British di Malaya iaitu Sir Gerald Templer. Genap seminggu sahaja batalion ini ditubuhkan, Tanah Melayu diserang oleh Tentera Jepun. Warna pasukan merupakan warna hijau gelap yang diambil daripada salah satu warna yang terdapat pada bendera Rejimen Askar Melayu DiRaja.
